Downtown Partnership Events

The Downtown San Diego Partnership produces and promotes a number of special events throughout the year, including membership luncheons, mixers, the Alonzo Awards dinner, our popular golf tournament and many others. Partnership events have earned a reputation for their substance, relevance and entertainment.

"The Alonzos" Annual Downtown Partnership Awards Dinner - The Downtown Partnership's Annual Alonzo Awards honors the people, places and projects that have contributed to the advancement of Downtown in the preceding year.

Annual Golf Tournament - An exciting and enjoyable event for members and their guests who like to challenge the local links. This event is extremely popular and offers some impressive raffle prizes.

Taste of Downtown - A self-guided tour of some of Downtown's sumptuous eateries. Guests sample various cuisines and food specialties from Downtown's finest restaurants.

Mixers - The Downtown Partnership provides quarterly mixers hosted by various member businesses downtown. Partnership mixers are a great way for members to network with community leaders in a casual, social environment.

Holiday Open House - Each holiday season, the Downtown Partnership opens its doors to its membership to see the Partnership offices first-hand in a fun, holiday party atmosphere. Over 200 people pile into the Partnership lobby each year to attend the popular event.
