Clean & Safe Sub-Supervisor to receive the SDPD Citizens Meritorious Service Award
San Diego, CA -
On March 21st, while working in the East Village, Clean & Safe Sub-Supervisor Rashid Sabour assisted in detaining a man whom he had witnessed commit battery against a SDPD Central Division Officer. Without this assistance the wounded Officer could have been in serious jeopardy of further harm.
As a result of Mr. Sabour’s brave effort he was selected by Chief of Police William Lansdowne to receive the Citizens Meritorious Service Award. The Awards ceremony has been scheduled for May 30th at 2:00 PM at the MCAS Miramar Bob Hope Theater. This great honor is much deserved and the Clean & Safe staff profoundly thanks Mr. Sabour for his heroic actions.
